On three occasions, Lima was crowned as the City of Experiences, and is perfect for travelers interested in colonial monuments, archaeology, museums, cultural events and handicraft.
In the Colonial Lima, important churches, convents, monasteries, mansions, monuments and balconies were built, while modernity didn´t affect its Historical Center, recognized, today, as World Cultural Heritage Site, by the UNESCO.

Itinerary
Day 1: Arrival and City Tour.
Welcome at Lima´s Jorge Chávez International Airport, transfer to the hotel you have booked, accommodation and rest.
After lunch, our staff will pick you up at your hotel, to set-off on that excursion, as we´ll first visit the ANCESTRAL LIMA, with a panoramic visit of the Huaca Pucllana which is a pre-Hispanic pyramid, entirely built with adobes (Sun-dried mud bricks), dating back to the 4th century A.D.
Our visit of the COLONIAL LIMA includes the Paseo de la República, San Martín Square and Main Square, with their distinctive monuments and buildings. In the Historical Center, we´ll visit one of many beautiful building which is now Peru´s Central Reserve Bank, where we´ll admire Peru´s most prized treasures. Then, we´ll visit San Francisco´s Monastery, with its Main Cloister´s Grand Courtyard, finely decorated with Sevillian tiles, from the 16th century, its beautiful Mauresque arches and subterranean crypts, known as the Catacombs, where we´ll the presence of the colonial past.
CONTEMPORANEAN LIMA: Sights of the capital city´s most residential areas, like San Isidro´s El Olivar, Miraflores and Larco Mar which is part of modern Lima´s distinctive tourist center, and privileged spot to contemplate spectacular views over the Pacific Ocean.
Day 2: Tour to Pachacamac
Breakfast at your hotel. Then, at the indicated time, our vehicle will pick you up, to start the day´s excursion.
Our excursion starts in Miraflores, with as a panoramic view of the ‘Huaca Pucllana’ built between the 5th and 8th century A.D., and is considered as a ‘Sacred Village’, by the Incas. Then, we´ll directly go on the guided visit of the splendid pre-Incan and Incan Sanctuary of the pre-Colombian God Pachacamac who was the Creator of the Universe, for the ancient Andeans, and includes temples, pyramids and palaces, such as the ‘Temple of the Sun’, ‘Pachacamac´s Temple’, the ‘Acllahuasi’ or ‘Palace of the Sun´s Virgins’, among others. Indeed, that whole Sanctuary was considered as Sacred, and part of the world´s mystical axis.
Our excursion includes the visit to the traditional and bohemian District of Barranco, where the famous ‘Puente de los Suspiros’ (Sighs´ Bridge) stands-out. Then, it continues with the ‘Salto del Fraile’ (Fray´s Jump), the Pantano de Villa Wild Life Refuge, and spectacular views over the Pacific Ocean. Finally, we´ll return to Lima and will transfer you to your hotel, for dinner and a good night´s sleep.
Day 3: Transfer to the airport.
Breakfast at the hotel and, at the indicated time, Info Machupicchu´s staff will pick you up, to take you to the airport.
