The travel agency INFO MACHUPICCHU TRAVEL S.R.L offers the use of this website to all users or customers, subject to acceptance without modification of the terms and conditions of use set forth herein.

About Prices and Rates

  • Our system displays all the information of the services offered but not the availability.
  • When a reservation is generated, you will immediately receive an automatic notification indicating that the status of your reservation will be communicated within the next 48 hours. In that period of time one of our operators will send an e-mail to the registered address confirming, rejecting or providing an alternative to the reservation.
  • The system will only process reservations received at least 10 days in advance of the start date of the required tourist services. Otherwise IINFO MACHUPICCHU TRAVEL reserves the right to refuse the reservation request.
  • To confirm the reservation, we must have received your payment for the services or the security deposit.
  • Payments or security deposits must be made through our online system.
  • The reservation will be confirmed when our system informs you through an e-mail of the confirmed status and the corresponding confirmation code.
  • Charges on your credit card will be made after the availability of all requested services has been confirmed.
  • Passengers are responsible for correctly providing their e-mail and contact numbers, if for any reason the passengers do not receive the confirmation e-mail within the established period, they must contact INFO MACHUPICCHU TRAVEL.
  • It is the passenger’s responsibility to indicate their arrival and departure details with due anticipation.
    Unused portions of the package / tour, at the passenger’s decision, will not be refundable once the package / tour is underway.

Documentation

The passenger is responsible for having their passport or other travel document and visas in force according to their nationality accepted by the laws of the governments of the countries they are visiting. In order to make reservations you will need to have the following information for each passenger:

  • Full names and surnames.
  • Passport number and / or identity document.
  • Date of birth.
  • Gender.
  • Restrictions in the dietary diet of the host, if any.
  • It is recommended to report allergies, diseases, passenger conditions, characteristics of each passenger, etc.

Luggage

INFO MACHUPICCHU TRAVEL, recommends that all visitors who come to Peru, arrive with their own travel insurance, covering the loss of luggage. INFO MACHUPICCHU TRAVEL, is not responsible for the following:

  • Lost or delayed luggage during international or domestic flights.
  • Lost items, hand luggage, handbags or personal items.
  • Items forgotten by guests in hotels, vehicles or places, during the trip.
  • We recommend that all visitors not include valuables in their luggage during transfers.

Insurance

We recommend obtaining insurance in case of trip cancellation, repatriation and international medical insurance to cover any inconvenience that may arise during the trip. We also suggest that you consult your doctor to update vaccinations and medical check-ups and concerns regarding international travel.

Feeding

  • On all flights or ground transportation services, meals and / or snacks are served according to the carrier’s policy.
  • In the Travel or Tour Programs, meals that are specified and published in the program itinerary are included.
  • All other meals and / or drinks are the responsibility of the passenger.

Payment and Deposit Policy

  • The total payment for packages / tours, in case of individual passengers must be made 30 days before the date indicated as the start of the travel program, unless different conditions are specified.
  • In the case of groups, our payment policy requires that our services must be fully canceled 45 days before the arrival of the group together with the list of passengers, unless different conditions are specified.

Payment methods:

  • VISA credit card with Verified by Visa and MASTERCARD with Securecode
  • VISA, MASTERCARD, AMERICAN EXPRESS credit card through PAYPAL.
  • VISA, MASTERCARD, AMERICAN EXPRESS credit card through EASYPAY.
  • Bank deposit.
  • Sending money by Western Union or Money Gram.

Children policy

Special conditions are considered to apply only for children under 10 years of age (9 years, 11 months and 29 days of age as an age limit).

Refund Policy, Cancellation and / or Cancellation of Reservations

  • For any cancellation, by the passenger, before 60 days of the start date of the tour will be penalized with 15% of the total cost for administrative expenses, outside of the financial expenses associated with the cost of the bank transfer, card commission credit and some other expense and / or cost associated with the return.
  • For any cancellation, by the passenger, before 31 days of the start date of the tour will be penalized with 50% of the value of the program, plus US $ 25 of administrative expenses, outside of the financial expenses associated with the cost of the bank transfer, credit card commission and some other expense and / or cost associated with the return.
  • No refund or refund will be granted if the cancellation request is received up to or less than 19 days before the arrival date of the passengers.
  • Likewise, no refund or refund will be granted for non-presentation of the passenger (s) or cancellation during the trip.
  • Note: The reservation of the programs for the Inca Trail are not refundable in any case.
  • Certain suppliers have more stringent cancellation policies regarding groups. Therefore, in group reservations that exceed 10 passengers, suppliers reserve the right to impose a 35% penalty up to 90 days before the date of travel, and 100% penalty for cancellation up to 45 days before of the travel date.

Responsibility and Obligation

  • The obligation for services not provided due to the negligence of INFO MACHUPICCHU TRAVEL, or our staff, will be limited to the actual cost of the omitted services and excludes all resulting consequences or indirect costs. In such case, we will do our best to provide alternative arrangements of equal value, subject to availability.
  • INFO MACHUPICCHU TRAVEL, acts as an intermediary between tourism services companies and passengers for the reservation process and payment of services. In case the service company stops operating for internal labor reasons, force majeure or other reasons, or in case the service provider declares itself in economic insolvency, with the formalities required by the corresponding Peruvian legislation, the service reimbursement not borrowed will be carried out, within the aforementioned procedures and within the deadlines established by the Peruvian authorities, for each specific case.
  • Passengers accept that INFO MACHUPICCHU TRAVEL has no responsibility for the non-provision of the services offered in case of adverse weather conditions or natural disasters that cannot be foreseen. Likewise, it recognizes that there will be no responsibility, in the case of political movements, accidents, strikes or any other public act beyond our control, that could not be foreseen. In these cases, the value of the contracted service will not be refundable.
  • In the event that the means of transport (plane, train, bus) chosen by the passenger does not arrive at the scheduled date and time at the destination, where the travel program or tour booked by the passenger begins, it recognizes that neither INFO MACHUPICCHU TRAVEL, nor the Tour Operator, have responsibility for the non-provision of the reserved services. The Tour Operator will only provide the service from the corresponding portion since the passenger arrives. The portion of the unrealized program is non-refundable.
  • The services provided through this system are therefore intangible, so if the passengers, for whatever reason, do not take the services at the scheduled date and time, they will assume responsibility for their total expenses.
