Basic Arequipa (2 Days / 1 Night)

Day 1: Arrival in Arequipa and City Tour

Arrival in the city of Arequipa, and transfer to your hotel.

Between 2:00 and 2:30 p.m., we´ll pick you up at your hotel, to board a double-deck bus, rigged up to enjoy landscapes, with a 360° panoramic view. Then, we´ll ride across historical areas, and will have plenty of opportunities to contemplate the beautiful landscapes around the city.

On our way, we´ll visit the Main Square, the El Carmen Alto Vantage Point from which we´ll sight the Chilina Valley, and will enjoy an exceptional panoramic view of the three volcanoes that surround the city. Then, we´ll head towards the Yanahuara Vantage Point, and will visit its square.

Then, we´ll visit one of the best known alpaca wool textile weaving manufactures, in the city, where the staff will explain the textiles´ production processes to us. Later on, as we get to the District of Sachaca, we´ll have a look at the Tingo Summer Resort, to directly go to the Founder´s Mansion, where we´ll visit a museum that withholds Arequipa´s ancient cultural wealth.

Afterwards, we´ll head over to the Sabandia Mill, where we´ll have a better idea of how water was taken advantage of, in the past, to grind grains from crops, in that area. Finally, we´ll appreciate beautiful views of Paucarpata´s benched terraces. Arrival at Arequipa´s Main Square, between 6:00 and 6:30 p.m., and transfer to your hotel, to have dinner (not included) and rest.

Day 2: Transfer to the Airport

After breakfast, at your hotel and, at the indicated time, our staff will pick you up, to take you to the airport, or bus terminal.
